What can I say about this weekend? Well I can’t

What can I say about this weekend? Well I can’t say anything about Saturday’s wedding, and I won’t be sharing any photographs either. … Well maybe this one teaser! I am working on a preview for the newlyweds this afternoon, but here is an exclusive.
We won’t be talking about the not one, but two awesome dresses, surprise celebrity performances, stunning flowers and some of the best limbo I have ever witnessed. We won’t mention the rain, so much rain! ( scroll over to see my camera snug in a plastic bag, wrapped in a towel and under an umbrella to get this shot!) on the wettest day EVER.

But

We will mention @thefifearms who looked after me so well. It was lovely to see you all again. @glencairnsvideoproductions and @twinflame.stories who had my back all day. To my new friend Marit who is fabulous and everyone else who made the day awesome.

But then there was Sunday. Sunday was even better. I was exhibiting my work at the Beach Ballroom and couldn’t believe how many of you came out to say hello, despite storms and floods. I had so much fun talking to you all. Those of you that have started the booking process I am genuinely so excited to work with you all. Thank you to everyone that filled my weekend with all things party & Love. I have the absolute best job!

Jordan and Paul celebrated their big day at @maryc

Jordan and Paul celebrated their big day at @maryculter.house surrounded by their family and friends.

They got the perfect autumnal day with the mild weather allowing their guests to enjoy the views of the river Dee while enjoying the most delicious donuts and some fantastic music.

Unfortunately Paul was hampered with a dislocated foot which made posing for pictures and rocking out to the big show a little more difficult, but he styled out the crutches like a pro.

And that dress and veil! Jordan made for an absolutely stunning bride.

Congratulations to you both, Casey had a great time photographing your day - hope you had a fabulous rest of the night!

I am counting Erin & Paul’s Aberdeenshire wedding yesterday as the first of the Autumn season. The weather was dry and just warm enough to drink fizz on the lawn, but the fall colours were in evidence both on the trees and in the bridesmaids dresses. The floral design was perfect and everyone just looked amazing. I had a lovely day with great people. Thank you everyone who made me feel like one of the guests.

Good wedding photographs are a three way collaboration between photographer and newlyweds alike. These two brought their A game, and I hope you love these as much as I do! Congratulations again and enjoy the honeymoon.

I wrote back at the start of last week that I was very much looking forward to Steven & Jasmin’s wedding this weekend. Back then I couldn’t of known about the epic weather Saturday brought. I hadn’t at that point met their awesome friends and family. I hadn’t seen THAT DRESS!!

We thought the rain would come yesterday. We waited, we crossed our fingers, we hoped we could get our shoot done before the downpour. And we did.

I only had a small
window to meet with Kris & Claire, as they were only in Aberdeenshire for a short time. The Scottish weather looked after us though, and I am loving how good these guys look in photographs ✌🏼.
